I am a recent Ph.D. graduate in Political Science from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). My research interests focus on the intersection between European politics, political economy and public policy. My Ph.D. thesis analysed the political determinants of state aid allocations among EU member states. I have also worked on and published research on other aspects of political economy and public policy, namely foreign direct investment and policy implementation. Beyond this, I am interested in a wide variety of fields, including psychology, anthropology and evolutionary biology. Other research projects of mine aim to join these interests to the field of political science.
