About

Alessandra Cipolloni was born near Milan in 1996 and then moved to Rome during her childhood. She discovered her passion for books and then for literature at school, winning literary prizes and studying Latin and Ancient Greek.

She completed a BA in Italian Literature and a MA in Methods and Topics of Art Management and MA in Italian Studies. She has worked in museums in Milan and in an auction house in Rome, at the Books and Manuscripts Department.

During these years, her passion towards literature grew, always combining her studies with an acute analysis of the historical context and their implication in the present. Still she seeks for beauty among the lines and the brushstrokes. She deeply loves medieval literature and its symbolism and is interested in mythology and anthropology.

One of the things she loves doing most, besides writing and reading, is cooking. There she finds creative expression, joyfully experimenting with different flavours and techniques. She also pursues for inspiration in nature, finding fullfilment through hiking and exploring the unknown.
