Nancy Madigu
Dr. Nancy Madigu bridges scientific discovery and global program leadership—transforming traditional medicine and modern research into scalable health solutions that improve lives. With over sixteen years of cross-sector experience spanning pharmaceutical R&D, higher education, and international development, she brings a proven ability to turn science into strategy and strategy into measurable impact.
Her pioneering research on traditional medicinal plants for anemia management has attracted international recognition, including selection for the 64th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting and the Nestlé Conference Award for program excellence. As a Research Consultant and Lecturer at Strathmore University, she leads curriculum innovation, research mentorship, and program development in health and nutrition education.
Dr. Madigu also contributes her expertise as a Global Community of Practice Expert with the African Development Bank Group, where she supports policy analysis and strategic initiatives on healthcare systems and food security. She has previously served as a Programme Management Specialist at the Nestlé Research Centre, leading multi-country nutrition and health programs that reached over 10,000 individuals and achieved a 45% improvement in food security through community-driven innovation.
Currently based in Geneva, Switzerland, Dr. Madigu is passionate about bridging science, sustainability, and education to create equitable health outcomes and inclusive learning ecosystems.
