Petronella Lockhart

Petra Saville Lockhart is a globally experienced senior talent executive with a distinguished career
leading enterprise wide people, culture, and leadership transformation across complex multinational
organizations. With deep expertise spanning Talent Management, Leadership Development, Culture
Transformation, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Corporate HR, she is recognized as a trusted
strategic partner to C-suite leaders and a catalyst for organizational performance and long term
capability building.
Most recently serving as Senior Vice President Talent at Qatar Airways Group, Petra supported a
65,000 strong global workforce and led a 340 person function covering the full talent lifecycle. She
shaped the Group’s first unified enterprise talent strategy, introduced modern succession and
performance systems, established strategic workforce planning, and launched award winning
leadership, mentoring, and capability building programs. Her work strengthened leadership pipelines,
elevated employee experience, and accelerated transformation across one of the world’s most
complex aviation groups.
Prior to this, Petra spent nearly a decade as Vice President Corporate Talent, Learning and Culture
at Swarovski, where she designed global talent and performance frameworks, built a
highper forming Retail Academy serving 18,000 employees in 21 languages, pioneered digital
learning ecosystems, and led culture transformation initiatives across 32,000 employees. Her
programs earned multiple global leadership excellence awards and helped embed a future ready,
life long learning culture.
Her earlier career includes senior leadership roles at The Body Shop (L’Oréal Group), where she
created a global Retail Academy and served as principal mentor for the luxury division; OCS, where
she led enterprise wide people standards and talent reviews; and operational and learning leadership
roles at Topshop/Topman, UNIQLO, Hobbs, and Harrods. Across all roles, she has demonstrated a
consistent ability to modernize talent systems, uplift capability at scale, and drive measurable
business impact.
Petra is also deeply committed to advancing women’s development and inclusion. She serves as a
board member, project lead, and mentor for Thrive with Mentoring, and holds EMCC Gold
accreditation recognizing excellence in coaching and mentoring. She is academically grounded with a
BA (Hons) in English from Queen Mary University of London and holds advanced certifications in
change leadership, design thinking, psychometrics, and organizational development.
Known for her commercially minded, collaborative, and human centric leadership style, Petra brings
a rare combination of strategic vision, cultural sensitivity, and operational excellence. She excels in
shaping high impact people strategies, building strong leadership pipelines, and enabling
