Liliana Bica

Liliana Bica was born in Galați, Romania, and holds a university degree in Engineering along with a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources. With over 23 years of experience in the field, her professional journey began in education, where she first worked as a teacher.

Guided by a deep passion for people and organizational growth, Liliana has built a distinguished career in human resources, combining her technical background with a strong commitment to learning and development. She is certified as a trainer, facilitator, and vocational and personal development counselor, and has dedicated much of her career to mentoring and training young professionals across organizations, universities, and educational institutions.

Her approach is defined by pragmatism, initiative, curiosity, and determination—qualities that have consistently driven her professional success. Liliana began her HR career in 2001 at Holcim, where she served as Training and Recruitment Responsible, followed by key leadership roles at Pirelli as National Learning and Development Manager, and later as Human Resources Director at Adient and AFV Beltrame–Donalam.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Liliana has led numerous organizational development and employee engagement projects, while also supporting the growth of managerial and leadership capabilities within the teams she has guided.

Her academic contribution includes co-authoring a chapter in the professional manual “Management of Human Resources: Theories in Professional Practice”, developed in collaboration with the University of Brașov and a team of Romanian HR experts.

Since 2020, Liliana has also been a mentor with She is Mom, an NGO community supporting women’s professional and personal development.

On a personal level, she takes pride in being a trusted mother, wife, and friend—roles that enrich both her personal life and her professional empathy.
