Born in 1998, in Istanbul, Turkey, Alara is a dedicated recruiter with a strong background in research, diversity, and inclusion. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Boğaziçi University and a Master's degree in Sociology and Demography from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, where she lived for two years. With an academic foundation in gender, migration, and social research, she initially worked as a research assistant and consultant on various studies before transitioning into human resources.
Upon returning to Istanbul, Alara began her career in HR and recruitment and now contributes to a leading neobank, where she specializes in talent acquisition, process optimization, and enhancing the candidate experience. Beyond recruitment, she is passionate about training and knowledge-sharing, believing that empowering individuals through learning drives both personal and organizational growth. She develops structured, practical training programs designed to improve hiring practices and foster more inclusive workplaces.
