Eleni Chatzi

About Me

Born in 1992 in Athens, Eleni Chatzi is a dedicated social researcher with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Crete, an MSc in Applied Psychology from Robert Gordon University, and a Master’s in Criminology and Penal Law from the Hellenic Open University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Forensic Psychiatry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Eleni’s career is driven by a strong commitment to advancing social research. As a Scientific Collaborator in the MSc Global Health – Disaster Medicine program at NKUA, she supports research initiatives focusing on vulnerable populations, provides methodological guidance to students, and contributes to articles and policy briefs. She also works as a Scientific Assistant at the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE), where she supports a project focused on digital resilience, inclusiveness, and sustainable development in Greece.

Her experience extends to national studies and applied research. She has conducted interviews for research on graduate employment and gender-based violence and has contributed to various projects for public and private sector organizations. Eleni’s work bridges academic inquiry and practical policy application, emphasizing the design and implementation of evidence-based research to inform social policy.

In addition to her research roles, she is a skilled freelance translator and transcription specialist. Her professional interests include criminology, forensic psychology, social policy, global health, and crisis management—reflecting her dedication to addressing complex societal issues through rigorous research and informed policy development.
