About
Ludovico Roi
Ludovico Roi is an international education and partnerships professional with experience spanning higher education, international development, transnational education, and strategic collaboration across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
He currently serves as Senior Global Partnerships Manager at the University of Reading, where he develops international university partnerships and supports collaborative programmes, institutional agreements, and strategic initiatives. His work focuses on building relationships that create long-term institutional value, broaden access to international education, and generate sustainable opportunities for students, academics, and partner organisations.
Previously, Ludovico worked at Liverpool John Moores University, leading international development activity across South Asia. His experience includes partnership development, stakeholder engagement, international recruitment, and programme development across diverse cultural, institutional, and regulatory environments.
Alongside his university work, Ludovico has a strong interest in innovation, artificial intelligence, and the future of international education. As a Board Advisor to Neuture.ai, he is particularly interested in how emerging technologies can improve access to education, support better decision-making, and strengthen connections between learners, institutions, employers, and wider society.
Ludovico believes education should be approached as an interconnected system, bringing together universities, governments, industry, technology providers, and communities to address challenges related to access, skills, employability, innovation, and social mobility. His approach combines strategic thinking, collaboration, and practical delivery, with a focus on creating sustainable, long-term impact and new pathways for learning, development, and international engagement.
Ludovico holds an MBA and two degrees in Law and Economics, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
