Melina Jahanshahi

Melina was born in 1991 in Iran and currently based in Finland, Melina Jahanshahi is an
experienced HR professional with over eight years of leadership and coordination
experience, including five years in human resources roles across diverse industries,
including service, technology, and industrial sectors.

She has worked in multicultural environments, where she developed expertise in internal
communications, employee relations, and team leadership. In her HR career, Melina has
also held managerial responsibilities, overseeing recruitment processes, coordinating
HR operations, and guiding multicultural teams to ensure effective collaboration and
organizational growth.

Melina holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business Management
and has a strong academic background in HR practices, with a particular interest in HRIS
platforms, onboarding processes, and the role of AI in modern workplaces. Through her
academic research, she has explored how digital tools can transform HR processes,
particularly in hybrid work settings, which has deepened her commitment to advancing
the field.

Her professional journey has given her valuable insights into how data-driven HR,
inclusivity, and effective communication can support both organizational success and
employee growth. Melina is passionate about continuing her career in HR and driving
digitalization to create more efficient, people-cantered, and future-oriented workplaces.

She is passionate about fostering inclusivity, building meaningful connections, and
helping advance Arcadia’s mission of making higher education accessible worldwide
while promoting global appreciation for art.
