Frida is an accomplished HR professional originally from Manila, Philippines, and currently based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a major in Social Anthropology and a minor in Political Science. During her time at the University of the Philippines, she distinguished herself as a student leader and volunteer mentor, demonstrating an early commitment to people, culture, and community development—interests that naturally guided her toward a career in Human Resources within the banking sector.

Driven by curiosity and a strong commitment to developing a comprehensive understanding of HR, Frida actively engaged in projects beyond her initial role as an HR Officer. She gained extensive experience managing key areas such as Benefits Administration, Employee Engagement, Occupational Safety and Health, and Corporate Social Responsibility programs. Through these responsibilities, she further developed her administrative, leadership, and strategic management capabilities.

Frida later joined a startup fintech company as an HR Manager, where she played a pivotal role in building and implementing HR processes across the entire employee lifecycle. Her initiatives contributed significantly to enhancing the employee experience by introducing diverse benefits programs, career development opportunities, and a structured reward system. She places strong emphasis on fostering a workplace culture grounded in communication, compliance, and collaboration, while actively championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee well-being.

As she begins a new chapter of her career in Dubai, Frida is eager to apply her expertise within the city’s dynamic multicultural environment. She is particularly interested in navigating the region’s unique labor landscape while continuing to build inclusive and supportive workplaces.
