HR Consultant
Frida is an accomplished human resources professional originally from Manila, Philippines, and now based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, majoring in Social Anthropology with a minor in Political Science, at the University of the Philippines, where she distinguished herself as a student leader and volunteer mentor. Her early dedication to people, culture, and community naturally led her toward a career in HR within the banking industry.
Driven by curiosity and a desire to master the full HR spectrum, Frida expanded her responsibilities beyond her initial role as HR Officer. She successfully managed programs in Benefits, Employee Engagement, Occupational Safety and Health, and Corporate Social Responsibility—developing strong administrative, leadership, and strategic skills along the way.
Frida then advanced to a startup fintech company as HR Manager, where she established end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle. Her initiatives enhanced the employee experience through diverse benefits, career-growth opportunities, and a dynamic rewards system. She is known for fostering a workplace culture built on communication, compliance, collaboration, and for championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging while prioritizing employee well-being and strengthening management–employee relationships.
Now beginning a new chapter in Dubai, Frida aims to make a meaningful impact in HR within the city’s multicultural environment and evolving labor landscape. Joining Arcadia brings her closer to a long-held aspiration: blending a successful HR career with a deeper commitment to service and purpose.
