Marco Schito was born in Bologna (Italy) in 1992. He has a BA in Political Science from LUISS Guido Carli (Rome, Italy) and a double-degree MA in International Relations from LUISS and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). He was recently awarded a Ph.D. in political science from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland).
His main areas of research cover European politics, public policy and political economy, with a focus on competition policy in the EU. He has written various articles on this topic and published in international peer-reviewed journals.
Beyond politics, Marco has a wide variety of academic interests, ranging from biology to psychology to anthropology, which he often attempts to integrate in his political research. His other interests are literature and data analysis. He also dabbles in tennis.
