Elena Maiolini, was born in 1994 in Italy. Since an early age she became fascinated with art and the way humanity’s core emotions shine through artistic expression. During high school, where she discovered and learnt about classical culture, she decided she would follow her passion for art and she eventually obtained both a first degree and a master in Art History and Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.
Her main passion is visual culture, and the way images are shaped and used as a way to communicate a plethora of different things. As she believes art is made for, by and through people, she keeps on pursuing her interest in the way artistic expression in every shape has always and continues to impact our lives, as both singular entities and societies of people.
