Anna Artyushenko, was born in 1997 in Moscow, Russia. She completed her dual Bachelor’s degree in Classical Philology and English Translation and Interpretation. She has a broad knowledge of Russian literature and poetry, as well as American and European literature, and languages. She has a deep love for the fantasy genre.
After graduation she applied for a Master’s degree in the Netherlands. During that time she dedicated her research to the topics of mystical and supernatural in fiction, pursuing her interests. She has been working as a part-time language teacher and a freelance translator. Anna graduated with an MA in 2021, and since then she resides in The Hague, where she started learning Dutch language.
Music has been one of the greatest passions in her life, while she has been playing electric guitar for over ten years and producing her own songs. She believes that all forms of art influence each other and are interconnected, as herself she finds inspiration everywhere: in music, books, poetry, cinema and visual arts.
She loves reading in her free time, writing short stories of her own, and taking long walks in the forest.
