Eva Twasiima

Twasiima Eva was born in 1997, in Kabale District, Uganda.

She has a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Uganda Christian University Mukono. She has also acquired her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre Kampala, a perquisite to the Admission to the Ugandan Bar. She has worked in various Law firms in Uganda mainly dealing in the criminal law field, land transactions, commercial Law and Civil Litigation. This has exposed her to the Plea-Bargaining process in the Ugandan prisons.

After Her Graduation from the Bar Course, she has joined very many volunteer ship programs especially in NGOs for empowerment of women’s rights in East Africa, as well as fight for wildlife animal rights against poachers. During these programs, she has gained experience in communicating with people from various back grounds and trying to learn different languages.

She loves animals, reading books of any genre, writing short poems, travelling, meeting new people, researching especially about the law and its evolvement over time as well as commercial law practice.
