Claire DuBois Schneider
Claire DuBois Schneider, was born in 1996 in New York. She studied anatomy and illustration at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. In her second year of undergraduate studies, she went to Rome to study at Instituto Lorenzo De’ Medici. It was there that she took her first art history course. The course focused on Italian art and significant painters such as Caravaggio, Gentileschi, and Giotto. Being surrounded by the history and beauty of Italy, Claire was struck by the power and wonder that a strong piece of work can create.
After earning her bachelors, Claire then went on to get her masters degree in medical art at the accredited University of Dundee in Scotland. This program focused heavily on traditional figure drawing as well as digital portrayals.
Claire is currently based in New York City and works as a graphic designer and traditional artist. Claire is a professional member of the Association of Medical Artists and enjoys keeping up with the arts both traditional and scientific.
