Ana Jiménez Cañada

Art Consultant

Ana Jiménez Cañada was born in Catalonia and lives in Valencia, Spain.

She graduated from Fine Arts degree at Polythecnic University of Valencia specializing in painting and music analogies after wich she studied a Master’s Degree in Cultural Management. Simultaneously, she completed undergraduate education in Music at the Conservatory of Valencia.

By the end of the master’s in 2017 she started working as a project manager for the Cultural CdM Foundation, where she stayed for the next four years and a half. Taking part in European festivals meetings as a representative for the institution she was elected for the Board of Directors of the European Early Music Network (REMA) in 2019, whose main challenge would be reaching a wider audience and being truly representative for the sector.

At the foundation she would be responsible for online content and web design as well as the production of several early music festivals, musicology congresses and workshops. She created didactic contents for kids, managed budgets, ticket sales, customer service and audience engaging strategies. She keeps doing most of these tasks in her current job as a group manager for Amores Grup de Percussió.

In her free time she sings at the choir, writes for a blog on museology, studies digital marketing and runs personal Instagram accounts on different topics. She is specially interested in interdisciplinary projects which focus on audience development, continuous learning and spiritual enrichment and people say that her strengths are creativity, empathy an consistency.
