Vicente José Rodríguez Rojas
Associate Researcher
Vicente José Rodríguez Rojas was born in Santiago, Chile. He earned his bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of Chile. A year later, with the support of funding from the Chilean government, he continued his studies in the United Kingdom, obtaining a Master of Philosophical Studies (MPhil).
Upon completing his MPhil, Vicente returned to Chile and began teaching at a high school, where he covered the history of philosophy with a focus on moral philosophy, epistemology, and political philosophy. This teaching experience ignited his passion for sharing knowledge and nurturing young minds. Concurrently, the rising political unrest in Chile reinforced his commitment to advocating for social policy improvements, particularly in education, pensions, and health.
After three years of teaching, Vicente embarked on a new academic journey by pursuing a Master's degree in European and Global Studies at the University of Padova, Italy. His academic and professional experiences have shaped him into an independent and thorough thinker who values the free access to education and knowledge. Vicente finds beauty in the simplicity and elegance of complex and abstract ideas.
His topics of interest include:
• Political Philosophy
• European Policies
• International Relations
• Moral Philosophy
• Metaphysics and Epistemology
