Noelia Barbero

HR Recruitment Officer

Noelia was born in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1999 and now lives in Rome, Italy. Her dream has always been to travel the world and get to know different cultures.

She studied Anthropological Science at the University of Buenos Aires and is currently in the final year of a BA in Global Humanities at Sapienza University of Rome.

One of her main achievements was working in Human Resources in the health sector during the pandemic, recruiting 100+ professionals, contributing to the increase in professional satisfaction and a decrease in churn rate. She also takes pride in having helped medium and large organisations develop DEI strategies and culturally aware and inclusive approaches. She worked in different roles within Human Resources, including her latest one as a Talent Acquisition Team Leader.

Additionally, Noelia works with the intersection of the LGBT community with ethnic minorities through various perspectives, work that has taught her extensively about the importance of empathy and awareness. She is currently working on the role of art as a medium for resistance. As an HR professional, she brings to the table a combination of what she learned through humanities, her life experience and background, her HR training and her desire to help change the world for the better.
