Gaia Vicario

Ghost Editor

Gaia was born in Udine, Italy in 1993.

She has been an avid reader from a very young age, and later she grew fascinated with communications and languages in every form, focusing her interest on writing short stories, linguistics and translation.

She studied English and Spanish Language and Literature in her hometown and graduated from her Bachelor degree with a thesis on gender roles subversion in Jane Austen’s novels. She then completed her studies in Verona, with a MA degree in Publish Studies.

Before the pandemic, she briefly lived in Milan, collaborating with a publishing house as a proofreader, editor and translator, and attended her Erasmus semester in Utrecht, NL. She fell in love with the Netherlands, its straightforwardness and many canals, and has been an honorary Dutchie for the past 3 years.

Gaia currently works managing an international team in the field of sustainable transportation and loves the constant exchange of languages, cultures and point of views; she has kept her passions alive and she dreams one day to incorporate them into her daily work.

In her spare time, Gaia loves chilling with her cat Alistair, cooking, snowboarding, playing video games and working on her eternally unfinished novel.
