Ermina Ribić

Ermina Ribić was born in 1996, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a holder of an MA degree in Comparative Literature which she obtained at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. She graduated with a GPA of 4.96. Her master's thesis presented a complex feminist analysis of Aesopic fables and she is looking forward to publish it as a book in the near future.

She has published 15+ academic and non-academic papers, both online and in print. Ermina has worked as a journalist, literary festival coordinator, proofreader, as well as an online literature tutor. She is translating various literary works that are still unknown to Balkans' reading audience. In her free time, she likes to read sci-fi and fantasy novels, watch movies and write on her blog about it.

Ermina's areas of expertise include feminism, gender studies, narratology, literary theories and literary movements. Her interest are literary criticism, philosophy, semiotics, semantics and film criticism.
